No Condemnation

Romans 8:1

Therefore, there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

For many Christians, this verse has no real meaning, yet it should be like a lifeline that is thrown out to them in a sea of guilt. Are you one of the ones who always feels that God is not going to answer your prayers or will not bless you or will pass you over for healing because you are not worthy?

This is the case with so many people. The devil knows that he can’t steal away your eternal life; but he is devil-determined on keeping you from enjoying as many of the benefits of your salvation as he can. If he can just keep you defeated and living in the guilt of your past sins, even sins of the very recent past, he will render you ineffective as a witness for Christ and can keep your light from shining out into the darkness around you.

Did you read what this scripture says? It says that there is NO condemnation if you are in Christ. Now, how much is NO. It is zero, zilch, nada, nil. Say that right now. NO condemnation.

The only qualifier in that statement is, you must be in Christ Jesus. How does one get into Christ Jesus? It is simple, you get born again. All who are born again are “in Christ Jesus”. The Bible says that whosoever will call on the name of the Lord SHALL be saved. Saved is born again and all the past is behind, it is as if you had no past before your salvation. God will remember it no more and if he doesn’t remember it anymore then you don’t need to either and the devil surely has no right to. Enjoy the liberty with which Christ has set you free.

MY WORD CONFESSION: I am in Christ Jesus, therefore I have no condemnation at all.
