This concept is so Biblical, so foundational and yet so foreign to so many people, Believers included. Many have the idea that God is some kind of a “Wizard of Oz” kind of being, hiding behind a veil of spirituality that prevents man from even finding Him, much less knowing Him.
This could not be further from the truth; God is the one who originally initiated the relationship with man. Even after Adam and Eve sinned, God went out to look for them with a plan that was premade to redeem them and all mankind and bring us all back into relationship and fellowship with Himself. Therefore, it is God Himself who says, “I want to know you and I want you to know me.
Man was created with the ability and the need to worship. We all worship something or someone. Worship in its purest sense is the giving of praise, adoration, and thanksgiving to something or someone that we deem and esteem worthy.
God is worthy of all praise and all worship. He is the Great Creator, the Self Existent One who is before and above all else. He alone is worthy of praise. The one who discovers the act of worshiping God finds that it is both Self Gratifying and God Honoring. The Bible states that we enter His gates with Thanksgiving, that gets us in His yard, and we enter His Courts with Praise/Worship, that takes us into His private and personal chambers.
This is another concept that is so alien to most people, even many believers. Because of the wrong concept of God our impression of Him is flawed. We do not see Him as a Loving Father who is ready and willing to bestow Love, Kindness and the best of all things to us, His Children.
Once we know Him, who He is and how He is, we will naturally worship Him. As we do that, we will be drawn into His presence, to enjoy relationship and fellowship like non-other can give. He encourages us to come boldly unto His Throne of Grace that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in our time of need. He wants to enjoy our presence and He wants us to enjoy His presence.

IMPACT GROUPS
IMPACT Groups are friends who laugh, grow, and serve together. They are diverse small groups of like-minded people who are drawn together for a common purpose. Some meet in homes, some in coffee shops, and some online. Some talk over the weekend message, or study a topic together, some serve the community together, and some groups take part in a shared interest or activity together.
One thing is for sure: IMPACT Groups are perhaps the best place to form strong relationships with other followers of Christ.

What is our DreamTeam?
MCC doesn’t just happen week to week, it’s built and carried everyday, by everyday people; People who give of their time, talent and energy to make church great for others. Whether it’s sweeping or singing, on Sunday or midweek, getting involeved is a fantastic way to forge new friendships while learning new skills or strengthening already established ones.
What Is Merge?
It is Maranatha Christian Center’s student ministry for middle school and high school students (5th–12th grade). Our vision is to see students Know God, Worship Him, and Enjoy His Presence.
When Do We Meet?
Merge has one weekly service on every Wednesday night. Doors open at 6:15 pm. Service starts at 6:30 pm and ends at 7:30 pm.
What Do We Do?
Service includes dynamic worship and a powerful message followed by small group discussion. This is a time when students can have fun, make great friends, and grow in their relationship with God.
What is MCC Kids?
At Maranatha our desire is to provide an atmosphere for growth and ministry so that your kids and students can build a strong foundation in order to know the Savior in a personal way and spread His love through a lifestyle of worship, a hunger for God’s truth and a passion for giving their lives away for His kingdom.
We’re here to serve them and build a foundation that will last long after they graduate from our youth programs into their adult lives. Come and join us as we experience God, meet new friends and worship together!
